You Can Write a Good Article

We are all aware the raw power and efficacy of article marketing.  I’d even say that article marketing is the most potent and least risky internet marketing technique that has been conceptualized since the dawn of the World Wide Web.

The fact minus the fluff, if you’re operating an online enterprise, you have to resort to marketing with articles.

However, one of the most common questions I receive is this: how does one write a good article?

This reveals that even if most online businessmen realize that they have to utilize article marketing, not all of them are capable enough to craft a web-worthy piece of informative content.

Therefore, I have written down some easy to follow guidelines on how you can write the perfect good article for internet advertising purposes.

  1. Decide the subject you want to discuss with your article.
  2. Don’t attempt to write about a general topic.  Narrow it down to a more specific subject that people will be fascinated with.  By way of example, don’t tackle the general subject of “dogs.”  Try to determine a sub-topic that will capture the interest of the market you will be targeting.  Usually, this sub-topic refers to a specific need, like “dog training” for dog owners who are experiencing difficulty when it comes to living with their disobedient canine companions, or “dog grooming” for clealiness compulsive dog owners who can’t survive the smell of their untidy canine companions.  You need to unearth a sub-topic that will click.  This is critical.  Countless articles fail because they don’t discuss a more particular subject.
  3. Because the sub-topic should reflect a particular demand, your article must be able to provide an answer.  However, depending on the usage of your article, the solution you will discuss will vary.  For example, if the purpose of the article is to market a product, then hold back on the solution you will provide.  Your goal, in such a scenario, is to provide the impression that you know what you’re talking about, and entice your readers to check out what you will be offering.  Do not forget this as you prepare your article.
  4. Come up with a catchy seeking title that is immediately understandable but nonetheless enticing.  People will click on your article if they will like its title.  Otherwise, no one will view what you have written.
  5. Do not forget that each article has 3 fundamental components: the introduction, the body, and the conclusion.  The introduction will state to your audience what your work is all about.  You can deliver a shocking fact, a revealing statistic, or a humorous analogy to jerk your audience into knowing that yes, the author is the real deal.  The body will explore the message you desire to share, naturally.  And the ending will review the problem, the provided solution, as well as interject some calls to action (i.e. click my link) if needed.
  6. How long should your article be? It’s safe to say that 300 to 750 words would be fantastic!

These are just some easy tips for article writing.  It is not hard to write a good article all it takes is a little planning and a little thought.  With time you will find it gets a lot easier.  For further advice on writing a good article and additional ways you can increase your website traffic go to Marketeermum.
