Lesson#2: Transparency. If you are a couple, whatever you earn, your partner earns that too. Whatever your debt is, your partner owes that too. It is a team effort for both of you so it is essential that each of you is honest with your financial situation and obligations. Both should be included in planning, budgeting spending and saving. With honesty comes trust. These two are strong foundations in a relationship that could overcome financial problems.
Lesson #3: Go out and have fun. This is one of the steps on financial freedom that you should not miss. When you are stress from your work, there is a great possibility that you may be so irritated even with small issues or things that could ultimately take to some argument. Once in a while, you and your partner merit a break. A simple dinner or a movie marathon could spice up your relationship. You don’t have to use up so much. Being together is priceless.
Now that I have my own family, I could say that in a relationship, it would always be learning process everyday. All actions undertaken will have a chain response for the whole family.
